Hotel was great for kids, with Xbox, break out area, outdoor play area and Internet access available for them to use with supervison. Rooms were standard and acceptable. An ideal location for commuting to local areas and easy enough to commute to Trafford Centre.

Good hotel close to motorway. Usual Novotel high standard. Buffet breakfast very enjoyable. Only stayed for one night to break long journey to Holyhead but would be happy to stay again if I need to be in Manchester area but not in the centre. Trafford shopping centre a few miles away too.

We needed a hotel that was convenient for our business appointment west of Manchester, easy to access, pet friendly and, of course, comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. In the Novotel Manchester West, we found all these and more. We couldn't fault it.

We use this hotel when visiting family in the UK, everyone who works in the hotel are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Do look out for the 3 night deals which include breakfast, very good value.

I also booked on hotwire only to discover the hotel was not as described in the Salford area. hotel itself is not disappointing but hotwire will lose custom for falsifying advertising - it means for the hotel also that the customer is annoyed before they arrive. Unfortunate.

reasonably good sleep, only minus point was the breakfast room service - it was mediocre (had asked for dark jams but got only single mini-jar) and the croissants were just 2 mini ones which is not very much. The hot milk for the tea was not hot and the tea requested (Earl Grey) was simply English Breakfast
