This is a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. We stayed here for five nights and used this as a base to take days trips to many surrounding sights, such as Selinunte, Erice, etc. The breakfasts in the garden area were the best we had in Sicily. We had dinner there one night and it too was delicious. The... More

A really picturesque place and a great host. The food he (or actually the wonderful Maria) prepared for us was delicious. Even though he usually doesn't prepare dinner when there are less than six guests, he made a wonderful antipasta and a great pasta-dish just for the two of us. We were also served lovely wine produced from his own... More

Baglio Spano is a bit 'out of the way' but that being said, it's a real haven filled with authentic Sicilian antiquities and character. From fresh home grown fruit on the breakfast table to its unpretentious yet stylish interior, the Baglio Spano offers one a comfortable homely stay. Dinner at the hotel was a set menu and truly memorable. It... More

We booked one night at Baglio Spano' with our daughter after landing at Trapani Airport. The location is not straight forward to find, but it is worth in the end. Rooms are cleaned with all comforts, Breakfast very good and served in a nice atmosphere in a huge dining room. A nice garden is surrounding in the backyard of the... More

This bed and breakfast is a restored walled estate in a rural part of SW Sicily between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo. Surrounded by vineyards and with views of the sea from the upper rooms, it exudes a rustic charm. The area immediately behind is marshy but there is a beach area a five minute drive away although not of... More

We stayed in The Baglio Spano for one night during our cycling tour in Sicily. The place was very quite and calming. The rooms are big and nicely done with old things from the farm. We ate diner there; good sicilian food and wine. The breakfast was also a very good(compearing to the other italian breakfasts that we ate). One... More

We stay at this agriturismo for 1 night on our way from Palermo to Agrigento. We arrived after dark. It was quite difficult to find the way since it was no any signage on the way. But we called to owners and they explained the way: we missed small side road ('the hole' in the wall on the left side... More

Baglio Spano is an old farm turned into a wonderful and cozy bed and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. There are common spaces to gather which are very tastefully decorated. Clealy thought and care has been out into designing a place which which brings to mind the best of Sicilian culture.... More

It is hard to find in the dark but well worth it, we had been in Sicily for 8 days, staying in a variety of places and we liked Bagio Spano the best. More

We stayed at Baglio Spano for one night after our arrival in Trapani, Sicily. The house was set among the vineyards, quiet and peaceful but convenient to the main road. There is a small beach close by. A modest exterior belied its beautiful interior. Our room, overlooking the gardens, breakfast area and the sea off in the distance, was quite... More
