Not a bad place to stay. Not a bad price and close to Shrewsbury. The garage next door is expensive for wine but handy. On reflection we should have stayed at the Battlefield site. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Shrewsbury is a good day out plenty to do for all.

Standard Travelodge, all fine but unremarkable. Clean and fairly comfortable - the bed was a bit soft for my taste. People walking about above us was rather noisy. Reception polite and helpful. Not near anywhere except roads - 10 mins drive into Shrewsbury to get an Indian meal

Decent place to stay, perfect for somewhere to crash after a night out in Shrewsbury. Obviously you don't expect the best from these sort of places but a sunken bed isn't the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever had. Overall, not too bad.

Another great stay in Shrewsbury Bayston Hill Travelodge. This is my third stay in here. Great value, excellent customer service and very clean rooms. Will definitively come back again and will recommend to all my friend!!!

Well Travelodge are obviously a budget chain but this is one of the nicest. It was no frills and nothing fancy but it was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Drab, shabby, down at heel and frankly as the title suggests well past it's sell by date.
