Not only is this a stunning hotel with lovely large clean rooms, superb grounds and views that could take your breathe away but the fabulous team of staff that go above and beyond really made our stay something special. The hotel was ideally situated for our wedding breakfast after marrying at Eilean Donan castle and Michelle and her team not... More

Have known this hotel for many years and seen lots of owners come and go. At last the present owners have had the vision and put in the hard work to make this gem of a hotel everything it deserves to be. You can have the best location, and wonderful views but it takes more than that to create an... More

Found this gem last minute via Trip Advisor while looking for a hotel in the Kyle of Lochalsh area. Stayed one night. High points: 1. Wonderful, helpful, warm and friendly owner. 2. Great dinner. Started with the scallops which were excellent. Then on to the whole roasted seabass special which was wonderful. Salad was excellent. 3. Several nice lounge spaces... More

We enjoyed a drink in the lively bar and were then taken to the lounge which has a welcoming open fire. We chose to have our meal in the conservatory restaurant which has lovely views across the loch. (You can eat in the bar if you prefer) Staff were friendly, attentive without being obtrusive and efficient. Menu has a sensible... More

What a lovely place to stay! My wife and I enjoyed a great weekend here this summer. The hotel is owner-run, and this tells in the quality of service you receive and the obvious effort and pride they put into making your stay enjoyable. The owner, Michele, works like ten men and is never to be seen moving at less... More

What a great base to come back to after a day of hiking. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and accommodating, there is often a fire burning in one of the lounges to take off the chill. Sure, if you like modern hotels you won't like this. But if you like a place that has been serving up... More

We had a huge bedroom with huge bathroom, both very clean, covered in traditional lavender coloured flowered chintz, and that just about sums things up. It feels a little bit stuck in a time warp, the 80's maybe? One important tip: be absolutely sure to book dinner in advance. When we booked the room we specifically asked about this and... More

Well run hotel in a stunning area. The food is excellent. Not cheap in cost but well worth a stay our Siberian husky was treated like royalty. Highly recommended!! Suzanne Webb. More

As always with Scotland, if you get the good weather, it is stunning! But at any time of year, Kintail Lodge offers a comfortable friendly atmosphere, whether you want a relaxed romantic room facing stunning Loch Duich, or whether you just need a bunk house after a heavy days walking and munro-bagging! Food is excellent, with choice of delicious a... More

It is not often one can write an all round positive review of Scottish highland hotels but Kintail Lodge scored full marks in all respects. Friendly efficient staff, superior food, stunning views, large bedrooms and bathrooms and worthy of all the praise it rightly receives. Our only regret was that we and our two children could not stay longer. Many... More
