Have been wanting to stay here since 2010, finally have done so, and was not disappointed. We were here for a weekend away from Siem Reap. Made reservations 2 weeks in advance, when we arrived, all was good. Have been let-down a lot in Cambodia with poor reservation service so very pleased that Sambor was on the ball. Great little... I love the beautiful room, the huge tub and the bicycles! They provide bicycles for free for the guests, the room is beautiful. The water supply for the shower is smelly but there's nothing they can do in a small village like that. Overall it was nice, good service, good smiley staff, good breakfast, good vietnamese coffee, honestly we'll promote... More

I stayed in the Sambor Village just one night on the way to Siem Reap, and it was a lovely surprise. The pool area was beautiful - I just wished I had the chance to use it. I didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but the breakfast was quite nice and the view overlooking the pool area just perfect. My... More

At the end of a very long, very hot, very dusty drive from Phnom Penh, along wich my friends and I saw many spectacular things, Sambor Village was like a glass of Champagne at the end of a dessert hike. You are welcomed by lush gardens and a reception area/bar below the hotel's restaurant. It took exactly two minutes to... More

Recently stayed at Sambor Village Hotel on our way from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. It is located at the approximate halfway point, which makes it convenient. The setting is pretty, with a nice pool and bungalows spread around a small plot. The staff members were gracious and the food was okay (probably the best option in the area). The... More

Travelling across Cambodia, this hotel is a lovely little hotel set in a perfect location (between Phnom Penh and Siem Reip). It's quiet and serves some very nice food (try the platter). The rooms are adequate. Has a good little pool for cooling down.

We stayed one night after a day riding bikes and enjoyed the peaceful setting and the bungalows. Staff is very friendly. Swimming pool is inviting and large. Nice grounds. Breakfast was good. Small bar area. Some noise transfers between attached bungalows.

I stayed one night, arriving after dark and leaving before dawn. My bungalow was good, with plenty of space, and clean. Restaurant was very good, and internet access was easy. The pool looked great - and far better than most other hotels I experienced in Cambodia.

We stayed 3 nights (room 12) as we wanted plenty of time to visit Sambor Prei Kuk. The setting of the bungalows is beautiful: a lovely garden full of plants and a pond; all rooms have a private terrace (ours looked onto the pond). We felt the swimming pool is oversized (didn't make use of it). The restaurant served great... More

Thanks for your in depth review of the facilities at the hotel. We will be using some of your comments as a guide line for our quiet season renovations. We can't promise that we will cover every area of concern, but you have raised some issues that we would certainly like to look at fixing when we get the chance.... More
