Mrs Boyle is an excellent B and B host. She is very warm and welcoming. We really liked her. I don't think she is retiring. I would also recommend the hotel opposite for an evening meal. The night we were there they had a lovely coal fire burning.

Stayed one night whilst walking St Cuthbert's Way. Kathleen was very welcoming and our room was warm and comfortable with a decent ensuite. Kathleen booked a meal for us at the pub across the green. Breakfast in the morning was very good and we enjoyed chatting with Kathleen. A great stopover on a walking holiday.

We hiked into Morebattle in pouring rain, wet, muddy and tired. Kathleen picked us up and brought us to Kirk Yetholm. She dried our clothes for us, and reserved a table at the pub across the square. We had a warm welcome when we arrived, despite being soaking. I think Kathleen is used to it as she whisked our coats away to dry. This is the second year running I have stayed here as part of a cycling tour. Excellent accommodation in a beautiful location and just across the village green from a very good pub and restaurant. We arrived very wet and left bone dry thanks to Kathleen the owner drying all our wet gear. A godsend.
