Official Description (provided by the hotel):: The pension is a little hotel of 8 bedrooms (4 doubles, 2 singles, 1 for 3 persons and 1 for 4 persons). 5 of the bedrooms have got their own private bathroom and the 3 remaining are sharing 2 bathrooms. The pension is located in the heart of the old town, just behind the Cathedral San Nicolas. It´s next to all the bars, cafes and restaurants. In 5 minutes walk from here you are at the Alicante beach El Postiguet and next to all the site of interests....the port, the castle Santa Barbara, the old quarter Santa Cruz, the main street La Rambla, the theatre, the town hall, the Tram which takes you to the beach of San Juan & Campello. The pension is managed by its owner, Caroline, and its aim is to be as welcoming and helpful as possible offering a great range of tips and advises on your arrival in Alicante. As the pension is next to the night bars, at week ends some of the rooms are noisy but this is perfect for party goers or heavy sleepers! The reception opening hours are 10h30 - 23h00. Pension San Nicolas is very nice accomodation, in the middle of the Old Town, near to the beach, close to the bus stop of line c6 aireport-Alicante, actually close to everything. “Excelent stay in Alicante”

I stayed in Pension San Nicolas only one night but I definitely recommend this great value accommmodation in the city center of Alicante to anyone. The manager, Caroline speaks perfect Engllish and her welcome was really good, she gave me a good advice about the nice city visits and where to eat, and so on.

“Great location, great pension”

We really liked this place, the owner, the old town neighborhood and Alicante. The owner spoke excellent English and gave us really good advice on where to eat, get drinks, when to go out and so on. Our room was quiet - we never noticed other guests.
