Now I didn't pay for my own room, but I know how much my company did pay for it and if it had been my own money I'd not have been satisfied. Bottom line quibble is this: I could not connect my laptop to the TV because either the TV did not have an HDMI slot or it was somewhere... More

The hotel is next to a Pepe Shopping Mall and Seibu Line, surrounded by shops, department stroes, and restaurants. Within walking distance to JR Shinjuku Station and Subway Station. Rooms are tiny compared to the rates I pay. Considered very expensive. Front Office Staff (receptionists) are very helpful and friendly. But there is one concierge man named "Huang", whom I... More

We stayed for four nights at Shinjuku Prince back in October 2012. Being our first time in Tokyo as tourists, we had considered the usual top-choice areas to stay (Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc). However, as we were not booking with a lot of anticipation, our choice of hotels was very much restricted as many of them had the cheapest rooms sold... More

We arrive by Narita Express and was stunned by the maze within Shinjuku Station. We couldn't find the "EAST" exit sign anywhere and had to walk up and down several times lugging our luggage through the crowd.( We realized later there's no sign for EAST exit but instead look out for a KABUKICHO exit, it leads directly out to EAST... When traveling to Tokyo, I avoid Western branded hotels, as they are usually very expensive and locations are not convenient. For me, convenience in Japan is being close to train stations as I prefer (like most Japanese) to travel in this way. The Shinjuku Prince hotel was absolutely as expected. The hotel was clean, staff spoke decent English, and the... More

Stayed for 5 nights in April, Ask for a non smoking room ahead of time or you will have to buy a spray to neutralise the tobacco smell. room is small but clean, nice city view. Free Wifi at the lobby. Starbucks on 2nd floor has free internet but sign up for free online before leaving home. Its easier that... More

I was expecting more from this hotel. Disappointed by the room WITHOUT A CUPBOOARD! Not even a shelf! We had to stay with all our stuff in our luggages for the entire time. Furthermore the bathroom was terribly smelly, the corners not clean like you would expect from Japanese style.and honestly, too old..the moquette was so old and smely. considering... More

Not only is this hotel 5 mins walk from shinjuku station (if you take the right exit! Shinjuku station is so big if it takes you longer to walk you have gone out the wrong exit) its across from one of the biggest bill boards I've ever seen - a huge fluorescent green dog. Trust me, this is a golden... More

Rooms very small. No english TV channel was provided. The staff were rude when we asked for extra towels. The restaurants refused to serve ala-carte breakfast. The noise from the train tracks ensured that we had a disturbed sleep, despite having a room on the 20th floor. Will never visit the hotel again. The only thing positive about this hotel... More
