The Agnes Hotel reminds me of a well run bed and breakfast. It is not a ritzy place, but has everything you need to get by in Tokyo. Staff are very helpful, its close to the subway and lots of great places to east are close by. It is a very good place to stay.

this is not a glam hotel, and the rooms are not visually distinctive. however, the service is impeccable and the attention to cleanliness in the rooms is superb. by comparison with big brand 5 star hotels i have been lucky enough to enjoy, there really is a lesson to be learned from how clean rooms at the Agnes are kept....
