Hard to fault anything here from the initial welcome to the breakfast. In two weeks travelling round Scotland staying at b & b s this was by far and away the best. Excellent value for money. Worth more than five stars

Located close enough to J21 of the M74, but far enough away not to hear traffic noise. Good directions to the property sent out with booking confirmation. We arrived after driving up country and could not have had a warmer welcome with tea and warm scones at the side of a roaring wood fire. Delightful. Gorgeous "Ideal Homes"- type barn conversion with enormous guest lounge and roaring wood burning stove, with binoculars laid out for guests to view the birds on the Solway and a library of interesting books and games, and newspapers.
