We had lunch twice in the restaurant . We enjoyed the choice of traditional Spanish peasant food, which suits our diet. The standard of service is very high. We did not notice any food out of tins and packets. We chose a stew with beans and sausage, and a starter of gazpacho. There was a free aperitif , not so... More

Booked and paid for in advance through Brittany Ferries as the base for our car touring holiday, on arrival we wondered whether in fact we had only paid the deposit! As the ferry to Bilbao and 4 nights b&b had only cost £500 per couple. The service was terrific and the room and hotel decor magnificent. Breakfast was breathtaking with our... More

This hotel has managed to escape the clutches of the major guide books but has found its way onto Trip Advisor and it was a great find. It is a small converted palace hence the name; but not sure what it has to do with Abba; We gather "abba" is prefix for a hotel chain and not a reference to... More

A beautiful 5* hotel in a rural setting! The hotel is located on the outskirts, the lobby has a wonderful luxurious feel in a country setting. The lobby´s decor is unexpected with bright, loud colours and comfy chairs. The stairwell, running through the centre, leads to an amazing domed ceiling. I loved it ... the reception staff were friendly and... More

Attended a seminar here and everything was fantastic except there was limited wifi, but that could be overlooked due to the beautiful rooms and surrounding area. Easy walking distance to a very nice and friendly village. Just a great place to be.

We spent six nights in this luxury, 18th Century beautifully restored palace as part of a VaughanTown English language program. What a treat: huge room overlooking the village, every luxury one could desire, free WiFi, gourmet restaurant, friendly and helpful staff.
