I've an interesting comparison to make since I stayed on the previous night at the seemingly (much) more prestigious hotel a few miles up the road since I'd been unable to get a reservation a Mahon's for the Saturday night. But I wanted to be in Irvinestown so, on the Sunday, I shuffled down from the other place... I've been... More

Stayed at the hotel in February with my partner. Room was lovely, very clean and bed really comfortable. Food was delicious and staff were very helpful and friendly. We are going back again at the end of May. Looking forward to it.

My wife and I had three nights recently at Mahon's and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we have stayed in the past few months having enjoyed our first visit immensely. On both occasions our bedroom was spacious, spotless and warm with all the facilities one would expect. The Staff are very friendly and helpful and always... More

An old hotel in need of some TLC as it is quite shabby in places. The car park is an awkward shape and is unsurfaced. The room was basic and the bathroom had nowhere to set anything. Fixed head showerbath worked OK. Noisy plumbing travelled between rooms. Large bed, quite hard but comfy enough. TV didn't work. Breakfast OK but... More

We went for a birthday weekend treat and received a warm welcome from start to finish, from the staff to the locals to the entertainment, all great. Food was delicious (except for the potato bread on the first morning, it appeared to have been made from the left over mash potato from the previous night, it was very thick and... More

A truly fantastic hotel to visit for good wholesome freshly cooked food which is excellent value for money, also the undivided welcoming attention attention of not only the friendly and attentive staff but also the proprietors who have time for a chat with everyone visiting whether it be for a drink or a meal. We call here often and never... More

First of all - We cant wait to go back. We first stayed here about 19 years ago for a friend`s wedding and could not have been made more welcome. That`s true about all of Ireland but Mahon`s is special. The last visit was our eighth. We live in Newtownards which is about 105 miles away but when you drive... More

We have just returned home after three nights in Fermanagh staying at Mahon's hotel. We had a warm greeting and were offered to have someone carry our bags to the room-which we declined. Over our three days we were made very comfortable as the staff were lovely (esp Bernie who greeted us at breakfast). I would definitely recommend having an... More
