Just spent the morning at Angela Greys cookery school for one of her Sat demos and then had lunch in the bistro. The cookery school was brilliant, loads of hints, tips, recipes and stories. Only one ale on tap and that ran out, no new barrel ready because it hadn't been racked. Bad cellar management. The coffee turned up 10 mins later after ordering and the scones took another 10 mins. Otherwise the bar/cafe was pleasant and we enjoyed the woodland walk to the lakes.

We cannot recommend this hotel enough. Having stayed in numerous hotels in Cardiff, including St Davids, this was an amazing find and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
