Puri Rai is the best of a fairly average range of accommodation in Padangbai. You can either pay for the upmarket Bloo Bay at $100's of dollars/night, or go into the small town. We found the town quite good, there are a few small restaurants and it is a small cosy village. Good water snorkling, and boat trips. Puri Rai... More

As a result of missing our boat to the Gilis for 5min we had to stay here for one night. They showed me the room first without aircon, then I book a room for 100'000Rp more but with aircon but this oneeven worse although she told me that the 2 rooms are identical... Stayed one night on my way to Gili Air. They did get me a fastboat ticket for 400, 000 return. There was very loud construction until 7 pm. No wifi although they swear up and down they It but I walked the whole property and none. Not worth the money.

This resort is nice and good value for money. The best bit was that we bought our ferry tickets to Gili T through the front desk and they were only 200,000 each way when everywhere else was charging 600,000. This was for the fast boat and the service was great! The pools are nice with one having a swim up... More

Away from it all. Can't understand why people cram themselves in Nusa Dua, Kuta or Sanur. Big, clean rooms, filling breakfast, fantastic location, simple and practical. Can't think of anything bad for this hotel. If you like to be away from all the typical tourist spots and yet have a chance to do day trips to explore the rest of... More

I actually quite liked this place, and stayed here for over a week. My room was about 40 USD a night, and I thought it was decent value for that. That was a fan room, no a/c, but that was okay. The breakfast is adequate. The swimming pools are great, three to choose from, and there was almost never anybody... More

In the beginning, we had not had any plan yet to stay somewhere in Padang Bai, as we wanted to go to Nusa Penida as soon as the ferry possible to use. Unfortunately, we had missed the ship and had to find the nearest proper place to the port, to stay at night. After looking for the good ones, finally... More

In october 2012 we stayed 16 days in the Puri Rai hotel in Padang Bai, Bali. We had a just renovated room with airco on the 1st floor, and the room was very good. Plenty of room, nice/new bathroom, No balcony though. Staff is very friendly. Our airco was broken one night, but was fixed right away. The breakfast is... More

Spacious old fashion room style with old furniture and design. Our dive guide said that it’s the first hotel built in Padangbai back then, so that explains. However, they made a good effort to make it clean. We sent them an email for reservation but it was never replied. We finally booked through our local dive guide for Rp500.000 a... More
