Arrived in the afternoon to check in, to have verbal abuse thrown at me by a very drunk woman in the pub. Nice start! The rooms are very nicely decorated and furnished but our room wasn't clean. (Stains and things spilt on the floor and dressing table) Soap scum under the shower screen and the toilet was dirty. The underfloor... More

Nice hotel very modern rooms, everything you needed in them although quite small, most of staff quite friendly, reception desk not manned at all times so have to go looking for someone to check you in, only problem we had was with the breakfast, the hotel says on its website full cooked english breakfast or continental breakfast £6 per person,... We were welcomed on arrival by the manager who was very friendly and wished us a good time. We then had a drink in the bar (my beer tasted of cleaning fluid). Good to know the lines are cleaned, but pull a pint or two off before serving !! We then had lunch, which was pretty basic but good value... More

As previous reviews states the car park is very small. The room was very clean and modern with underfloor heating. You have to go to the bar to get John the owner to get your key which made checking in a bit slow. Our room was in the attic and was very quiet although skylight windows so you could not... More

I arrived at the hotel and parked in the small car park at the back- for about 4-5 cars. I was in a parking space. A white van pulled in the and driver started shouting abuse immediately about me taking up too much space (bear in mind I have one of the smallest cars you can get and was clearly... More

Recently stayed at the White Rose. Room was very clean and modern just a shame the service was very average. On arrival we couldnt find anyone to give us our room key and when we were ready to leave we couldnt find anyone to pay !! Would definitely go back for a return visit, if only to see if the... More

Excellent hotel for B&B stay for a very reasonable price. Friendly and accommodating staff with a great bar for real ale drinkers. The food is really good value as well for all tastes. Pub quiz Wednesday nights is good fun!!

The hotel is ideally located a few minutes’ walk from the Robin 2, nearby Indian restaurants, town centre shops and bus station, and attached to the pub of same name. When approaching it you start to think you are going to end up in old/rundown/noisy rooms above pub. Actually the hotel is round the back (walk down the lane to... More

I remember when this used to be a lovely old style inn with a great selection of well kept ales. Unfortunetly comparing 4 years ago to now the standards have seem to have slip. The beer (even though a vast selection) - i would say is the best kept - i, a ale drinker had to swap to wine after... More

Ok Bilston is what it is a black country village,we had decided to go to Monmore Green race track and make a night of it so we stayed at the White Rose.We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who shown us to our room which was small but tastefully decorated with a tiled floor bathroom and a spotless bedroom with...
