Still recovering from a great wedding and night of partying and dancing. The ceremony was done around their small lake then cocktails on a great terrace overlooking the waterfall. The meal was amazing, I don't think any of the 40 guest left anything on their plates, for all 5 services. Maximum 40 people though so make sure it's a small... More

I have been twice to l'Auberge des Glacis, this past week I came with a visitor friend from France. She was so happy to be there, we both walked around the pond, explored the paths in the forest, sat in all those beautiful chairs strategically placed all around the property to listen to the relaxing sound of the river. At... More

Auberge des Glacis may be a little hard to find but it is certainly worth the effort. The inn is built into an old grist mill beside a babbling brook deep in the countryside on a dirt road off a dirt road. The owners Nancy and Andre are accomplished practitioners of the art of hospitality. I often bring guest of... More

We so enjoy spending time at this little auberge. The owners are absolutely fabulous... Great food, nice surroudings. Love to sit outside near the small river with a good book. A little expensive but well worth it. Great place to relax and do absolutely nothing !!!

My wife and I have been going to Glacis for some time now and on our latest visit we once again renewed with the peace and tranquility of this wonderful inn. The owners André and Nancy’s carful care to preserve the essence and cachet of this magnificent old mill through the recent renovations has served as proof of their dedication... More

We spent one night here, on our way from the Saguenay Fjord to Quebec. A lovely, restful stop. We had a large corner room (the Balcon Room) with two windows, right beside the stream, a delightful natural sound, like a heavy rain on the roof... Only downside to the room is that the shower stall is very small, due to... More

Auberge des glacis is a very nice incc. The owners are super friendly and make you feel welcome. There is a nice living room overlooking the river where you can have tea, read or have breakfast. Very charming. The rooms are nice but a bit small. The bathrooms are fine but small not very luxurious. But I didn't go there... More

The auberge des Glacis is a cute little inn (actually an old mill) on the edge of a river in the small town of Saint-Eugene. This is about one hour drive away from Quebec city to the east towards Gaspe. The inns rooms are not very large but very adequate. Our room was on the corner looking out at the... More
