This was my second stay at Whitworth Hall and once again I wasn't disappointed. Its situation is divine with the deer all grazing in the grounds, which visitors are welcome to walk around. Visited for a birthday party and was very impressed. The hotel is located in very picturesque surroundings - ideal in good weather. The hotel itself was superb with a nice restaurant, plus the added bonus of a deer park, where you can feed the deer. Reception and service staff were very helpful.

Thank you for writing such a nice review abut us, if I remember you were attending a childs birthday party. The deer are such an attraction and as you say it is great expereince for the children to hand feed them. I hope you return to the hotel in the near future Kindest regards Miranda More

“Beautiful setting.”

Such an amazing setting in a deer park. Rooms well decorated etc and staff brilliant. Hoping to go back at some point. Food was excellent, had breakfast and evening meal, very accommodating with my fussy requests!

“birthday treat”

Went to this restaurant for the first time for my wifes Birthday. really friendly staff,nice atmosphere good food nicely decorated. We were made welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. We went with mydaughter and partner as they had been berore and it was recommended by them. We will certainly return and take other friends with us

this hotel was everything that it said on the tin.Set in a wonderful and peaceful location within a deer park it made the perfect choice for a three day break.The room was excellent (room 3) well worth the extra to upgrade just for the view alone.we booked a meal for the saturday night and that too was excellent.The only downside...
