Stayed for one night. I had chosen this hotel based on location and then price. It was very good. We were in the coach house. The room was a bit hot for us, so turned the radiators off. The bed seemed to have a duvet under the sheet as well as a duvet on top so felt very hot in... More

Stayed overnight here during a very cold Easter, and was glad to be given a warm greeting by the lovely hotel staff! The room was also lovely and warm, and beautifully decorated with excellent facilities. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Would love to stay again!

Stayed here for two nights over Easter weekend. Comfortable clean room, well-equipped with large en-suite. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient - we were made to feel very welcome. The restaurant food was superb, well presented and imaginative menu and we also enjoyed a leisurely drink in the lounge. Breakfast was served in the pleasant conservatory, again using local produce... More

I had enjoyed several stays at this hotel a few years ago so it was a natural choice when I returned for a short business trip. Since my earlier stays a large conservatory has been added to the restaurant area, providing a bright airy area used for breakfast during my stay. The hotel caters more for tourists than business users... More

Stayed here for one night in March 2013 and was hugely impressed by this small and very well run hotel. Lovely rooms, very pleasant bar and restaurant. Worlds away from the prescriptive and predictable hotel chain type experience and made to look so natural, uncomplicated and welcoming. An excellent stay, well worth the cost - would recommend to anyone.
