Hi All. I took a trip up for a long weekend to Edinburgh, Fort William and through Glencoe onto Loch Lomond, got as far as Dalwhinnie as the snow came down with a vengeance, we past the Inn at Dallwhinnie for about 2 miles and could no longer continue, so we turned around and stayed at the Inn, i don't... I stayed at the Inn for a weekend with some friends for a birthday celebration. We were made to feel welcome by all members of staff as soon as we arrived. I found all the staff to be friendly and attentive at all times and really enhanced the quality of our stay. The rooms were basic but the shower was... More

I often stop at the Inn at Loch Ericht enroute to Edinburgh. The food is always truly delicious and homemade. The coffee is great too. The owners (I think they have only owned it for a couple of years) have transformed this lovely hotel. Their enthusiasm and hard work is evident in every aspect. Looking forward to my next visit... Not quite what I expected when i arrived ('inn at loch ericht' it is not! The main road, a railway line and half a mile of swampy woodland seperate the Inn from the loch!!) and as another reviewer noted, more lodge than inn but whose worried? I arrived after a gruelling days walking in the nearby Monadaleith mountains and on... More

Room was freezing cold, tiny radiator did not warm it up, and there wasn't one in the bathroom which had no ventilation and no way were you opening a window in those temperatures! OK it was November but still you expect to not be woken up by the cold. Staff not apologetic or interested when raised with them. Food is... More

It was noted as The Inn at Dalwhinnie in our booking... we had no idea what to expect. We happened upon it through a website when our other options fell through. What a fabulous surprise! It has a Colorado ski lodge atmosphere, with fantastic food. The chef was really wonderful- our best meals in Scotland. We were in a large... More

We stayed at The Inn during a recent tour of the Highlands and were so pleased with the experience we just had to write a review. Not something I would normally ever consider but it was that good! Don't get me wrong, this is a 2 star hotel - not a 5 star resort, but what they deliver by way... More

No Highland hospitality here,I understand this place is under new management however the new management have much to learn about how things are done in Scotland. I have travelled extensively and it is a rare occurance to be asked to pay before even seeing the room. The atmosphere in the hotel was awful with a feeling that we were somehow... More

We take all customer comments and opinions very seriously and work hard to take action where appropriate. This review and the one posted on the 8th miss out some key information that completes the picture. This was a Group who were staying with us for a weekend. It had been agreed that if the hotel was fully boked by the... More

I have never arrived at any hotel before to be told that everything had to be paid upfront!!, that made me feel like a criminal. Breakfast in the morning was a totally awful experience, with an option of bacon, rock hard fried eggs and crumpets!!!!!!!, everything seemed too much effort for the staff. I was in a party who had... More
