I can rate only the restaurant (lounge bar) which is open for all, not only hotel's guests. There is not very wide choice of meals and I think that prices are a bit above average but all was really very tasty. Waitresses are very kind and helpful and the place itself is quiet and pleasant. I can recommend it if... More

The Aultbea Hotel is located in Aultbea on the shore of Loch Ewe, in an idealic setting by the water. My room struck me as being quite small, with a large double bed and en-suite bathroom. The furnishings whilst being modern, were becoming dated in appearance. A small television was provided with a sofa, coffee table, tea/ coffee making facilities... More

I stayed on sunday in a single room for £50 a night B & B through booking.com Really enjoyed it. Room was good size, comfortable and clean. Nice shower, no bath. I think it was number 8 - iv uploaded a photo. The Bar seems to be the local pub too - friendly people and a local beer on pump.... More

The room cost was £99 for a twin and it was not very big and a strange shape, the bathroom was down 3 steps and was very small. The residents lounge was well decorated but to small for the size of hotel. Breakfast was less than adequate no jams or marmalade, the hot dish was on the small size and... More

I had a wonderful weekend stay here, the location is wonderfully peaceful, and utterly beautiful. It's a handy base for exploring, I recommend the beaches (if only it had been a bit warmer) and the garden at Poolewe. My room (single) was tiny, but clean, clearly recently decorated, and comfortable.

The hotel is right on the shoreline and has nice views across the water. The hotel itself is a typical seaside hotel and a little faded. The room was adequate with a comfortable bed, but the bathroom was small with a very ineffective shower. The light illuminating the front of the hotel was shining into my room all night, which... Having spent 5 nights at Aultbrea hotel, we found the staff very friendly and helpful. At breakfast and the evening meal we were greeted by the friendly smile of our waitress "Jodie". The food was always pipping hot, served on hot plates. The local white pudding at breakfast is a must to try. The special dishes remained the same throughout... More

Aultbea is a beautiful location for any relaxing holiday. The hotel sits on the lovely bay of loch ewe and we were very lucky to have a week of gorgeous weather, which meant we could sit outside enjoying the view with a glass of wine as the nights drew themselves to a close. The staff are very friendly polite and... More
