Elizabeth welcomes you in her lounge with a cuppa and cakes; breakfast is outstanding with one of the best choices we 've ever had in Northern ireland! The view over the lake is fantastic and the area quite peaceful although the airport is 10 minutes away!

We stayed for a night on the 4th of May at Elizabeth's beautiful home. It was such a treat to be greeted after a stressful after work flight with a pot of tea and homemade cake on arrival, even though we arrived later in the evening nothing was too much trouble and Elizabeth gave us lots of information about places... We stayed at Bay Cottage on May 5th for only one night. We now wish it could have been longer. Mrs McBride is a fantastic hostess. We were welcomed with friendly chat, tea and home made cake. We had pre-booked an evening meal - which was a superb three course feast and the best value for money we had encountered... More

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Elizabeth for whom nothing was too much trouble. Picked up at the airport fed what has to be the best breakfast anywhere. Everything locally produced and prepared with such care. Baked plums for breakfast- wow! The bed has to be the most comfortable ever so much so we had... More

We had three wonderful nights at Bay Cottage last week and were very happy to be there. Elizabeth and Norman are very welcoming hosts and their home is a lovely mix of furniture and paintings. Our room was beautiful with a view over the lough which is right on their doorstep, we would never have known there was an airport... More

Bay Cottage is the perfect place to stay when exploring County Antrim and Belfast. It is close to the international airport but is in a most peaceful location on the shores Lough Neagh. I stayed in the room overlooking the lough and enjoyed misty sunrises from the window. Elizabeth is a marvellous hostess. Her breakfasts set you up for a... More

Thank you for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed yourself, and that you will return. There is so much to see in N.I, that you need several days. The frosty mornings are adding to our sunrises at the moment. Best wishes. More

A lovely old farm house on the Shores of Lough Neagh, well equipped with everything a traveller could wish for. A great place in which to relax in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The bedroom was large and comfortable, and a bonus for me, was the sitting room with log burning stove, where we could relax at the end of... More

This was my third visit to Bay Cottage and it is still just around the corner from Belfast International Airport on a quiet country road on the shores of Lough Neagh, and you are still greeted with tea, cake, shortbread and this time jelly! served in a comfortable sitting room warmed by a log burner. .Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms...
