Stayed at this Inn for 2 nights (7th & 8th May) with my mum for a little break away, and so glad we did. The staff were friendly and attentive, the twin room was spotless with the best power shower ever! The food, both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. What a little gem this place is, would stay again... More

Stayed here for three nights. First class welcome, good friendly staff. Bedrooms have all been upgraded and are brilliant. Food good and always served piping hot. Will be back! Dogs welcome and allowed in all parts of hotel if kept under control.

Despite my husband's allergy to dogs (and this is a very dog friendly pub!), we had a fantastic stay at Cuckoo Brow. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was excellent. The log fire and wood burning stove ensured a cosy atmosphere.... More

Not much of a review as only popped in for a drink during my walk. Sat in garden. Nice service and one of the few places I found serving non alcoholic lager in Lakes.Inside place was lovely with lots of oldy worldy odds & ends. Also has a lovely lift gift shop area.

We were passing by and thought we would try lunch here. The building is very old and very interesting. Wood fires were burning in all rooms. Very cosy. We ordered food and we were pleased with our meals. Nothing was too much trouble and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend the pub and would go out of my way... More

Attended here after a walk from the Bowness to Far Sawrey Ferry. No booking made, pub is popular with walkers, dog owners & a full car park too. Plenty of seating across different levels. A good bar with local ales & international range of drinks too. Great crisps, nuts, snacks selection & also a darts / games area on lower... More

Having stayed here many years ago we thought it would be nice to re-visit with our friends from Belgium who were making their first visit to the Lake District. We booked 3 nights bed and breakfast in standard rooms. The rooms were clean although a little stark,no paintings on wall etc. but with a lovely, large king size bed. The restaurant... More
