Stayed for 3 nights. It suited our needs despite being an older hotel. Yes, more outlets for electronics would have been nice, but we managed. It was clean and tidy. The only major comment I would make has to do with the stairs leading up to the second level of rooms. The stairs were a bit tricky to navigate as the cement steps were uneven and potentially dangerous - definitely showing its age. It was nice to have breakfast included in the price.

Our room costs $128/night as well as applicable taxes. I don't know why it has to be so much for a small community & its remoteness. The room is very basic and fridge with no freezer compartment. No good when you are traveling with ice packs you need to refreeze. You do get a free breakfast of bacon/hashbrowns/2 eggs/toast & coffee. That was decent tasting and good service from the restaurant.

I have a bit of a penchant for old motels with character and this one fits the bill. Ya know, wallpaper and Berber rug via 1990. This would be a $50 motel room anywhere else, but because you're in Tumbler Ridge miles away from any metropolis, it's was $135 all in (includes a bacon and egg and coffee full brekky tho! Con: frozen hashbrowns). The $89.50 advertised rate is for a weekly stay. The window locked, the TV worked and the sheets seemed clean on a comfy bed:) The front desk manager was very friendly. This motel is dated but I find that charming; however there were some burn holes in the secondary sheet, and the cushioned armchair looked fairly gungy. Bathroom had some dings but seemed clean. Other than that things were ok, lots of steaming hot water after a full days hiking and clean towels. A microwave, coffee and a fridge were included inside the room. I paid $175 all in at the Trend Hotel which also had a really good continental spread included with an executive room ambience. So for $40 more...

We were in town for a 3-day conference plus an additional 2 days to explore the region. We were pleased with the room and its amenities. We were very comfortable. Included in the fee for the room was a hot breakfast that was served in the restaurant attached to the Inn. This was our only grip and that was that you had no choice in what breakfast you got and the same breakfast 5 days in a row was a bit much. The server clearly had little enthusiasm for her job as even after having served us at the same booth for 4 day we still had to ask for some HP sauce. We only at dinner in the restaurant on the night of our arrival and the place was almost empty. We never saw it busy and we also quickly found out where the locals ate.

This is a very nice motel. Clean. Quiet. Televisions are older, cable a little weak, baseboard heat. Wall air conditioner. Hotel is close to everything, restaurant is good. The rooms are clean and well maintained but it is an older hotel with not a lot of amenities. I do recommend it

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was dated, but comfortable. There was a coffee maker and small fridge. 2 double beds. Air conditioning. Pet friendly was great as we had our 2 dogs. The free breakfast was excellent- similar to Denny's "Grand-slam". Was a bit disappointed in the pricing. Sign outside stated $79 per night, but we paid $115. Too pricey in my opinion, but we didn't have much choice. Tumbler has amazing trails and scenery. Kinuseo Falls are a must see . Had no problems. Would stay again.

We stay one night here in August 2015. It is an older establishment so don't expect anything fancy and new. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower worked well. Breakfast was included and there was also a breakfast buffet if you wanted. The food was good. We'd stay here again.

Very clean. 2nd time we have stayed there for a week and consistent quality. Michelle runs a good ship. Very friendly and helpful staff. Its a bit older (especially the TV) but what do you expect in a coal mining town. We will stay there again.
