we stayed at The Baagh for two days and came back very satisfied. we had a rough ride from Raipur because of a wrong turn we took. By the time we reached the retreat we were very skeptical...but surprise surprise, the hotel turned out to be gr8, rooms were neat, food good and the staff excellent. If your with good... More

Entrance looks like one is entering a village house but once u enter it completely changes with very good pathway surrounded by grass all around and a small lake built inside the hotel. If you are into wildlife and want a great place to stay whilst visiting Kanha National Park this is the place to stay. The staff are really friendly greeting you with a hot washer to wipe away the dust from your safari and a refreshing drink. The bungalows are fantastic, spacious rooms, comfy beds and a truly huge luxurious bathroom... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. About 15 min drive from the national park. 3-4 star accommodation. If you do not enjoy Indian food for lunch and dinner, suggest you speak to chefs and ask for alternative food. Eggs n chips was about the limit of western style food. Early morning game drive was quite chilly....rug up. We seached for 3... More

The reception area is not that impressive, even the paths from the reception to the bungalows are not that inviting. But the bungalow is really very, very nice. They planted about 25.000 trees and plants on a large piece of land and in the course of years this became a great habitat for small wildlife (civil cat!) and our sit... More

As a travel writer I have visited various forest retreats, and yet, The Baagh still managed to awe me, and WoW me. Adjoining the forest, The Baagh is spread over 20 acres of lush land giving one a feel of living in a mini jungle... and yet, nothing about the rooms is at all jungle-like. Rather they are extremely luxurious... More

The Baagh is an excellent accomodation for India. Tasteful and well functioning as well as beautiful. Food and service top rate. At first we had some problems communcating with staff but Pravesh made our stay wonderful. What a great time! We did get to see a tiger at Kanha.
