This was our first onsen stay and we loved it. Spend the extra money and get a room with the private onsen. The food was excellent and the service was too. One night was enough to enjoy the experience and visit the Snow monkey park.

Wonderful beautiful hotel. Excellent service and food. A shuttle service is provided to the monkey park.

One of the best hotel stay ever. Soaking in the hot outdoor bath at the balcony admist crisp cold winter air is simply heaven. We soak 4 times within our short one day/night stay and never got enough of it. Spacious clean room, top service, exquisite dinner (not that much to our taste though), but nothing beats the bath.....
