My husband was born in the Berry Mill house 50 years ago. So, we had planned a surprised stay for his birthday. Everything went according to plan. I said that I had won a price from work: a week-end in Ilfracombe. When we arrived near Berry Harbour I suggested that we pass to Berry Mill just to have a look.... More

From the initial welcome to the sad farewell every need was catered for with genuine warmth combined with great company.. The massive breakfasts and incredible evening meals -( the Banana and cointreau crepe is highly recommended - orgasmic!!) have never failed to impress over the 5 visits we have made. Jill and Gerry have made all our stays both at... More

Stayed in cobwebs. Good spacious large cottage. Basics all there but lacks some attention to detail. A basic welcome pack would be nice....

Great location, with a very warm welcome. In a secluded location in walking distance to 2 local pubs. Easy access to coastal walks and nearby villages and towns. A trip to Hunters Inn in Heddon Valley is a must. Many thanks to Jill and Gerry, and the little fat man who makes the finest most filling breakfast to satisfy largest... More

We recently stayed in this quaint B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Jill met us on arrival and took us to our room which was nicely decorated and big enough for our requiements with a large en-suite. Lovely white fluffy white towels that smelt beautiful. I used the complimentary toilitries as they were posher than mine!. Breakfast was filling and... More

We stayed in Daisy Cottage, a self contained cottage next to Berry Mill House. It was very comfortable and homely, with all the appliances you need with a young family. Jill and Gerry are very freindly and are there for every eventuality, they will help and advise you when ever you need or want it.

Made to feel very welcome. Room clean and tidy, only one negative thing, the plumbing was a bit noisy particularly if the room next to you was also occupied but having said that it's nothing that a pair of those sponge earrplugs you can buy in Boots won't rectify! Breakfasts very good. Jill provides a bottle of Exmoor water and... More

From the minute myself and my son arrived we were made very welcome, the room was bright, clean and very peaceful. The breakfasts were fab with us having different selections each morning that we picked out. After seeing the AA dinner award displayed we tried out the evening meals and the food was to a very high standard and we... More

We were made to very welcome here. We had a clean and comfortable ensuite room and the breakfasts were usually very good. The location was the thing that we were disappointed about, being adjacent to a large campsite and a 10-15 minute walk along a dark country road (no paths) to get to a pub or a shop. Privacy was...
