Visited in Oct 12. 3 of us and we got the room at the top leve. Clean and nice room. Very quiet and close to the cable car station. Wifi provided. Have a nice kitchen although we did not really use it (except for boiling water). Good location to stay if going to TOE. Will definite choose the place again... More

Clean rooms, good breakfasts, cappacino, interesting people to talk to at breakfast, edibles in the fridge, and a pristine setting: no cars to pollute the village - well almost no cars, flowers everywhere, picture-postcard houses, Europe's first unattended 'Honesty Shop' where you leave an envelope containing the money to pay for what you took. Incredible place. Just go.

I visited Gimmelwald in mid-September and chose to stay at Esther's because it seemed to be clean, charming and welcoming. And it was all that and more! Staying at Esther's Guesthouse helped make our stay in Gimmelwald a memorable experience. It was quiet at night, the kitchen allowed us to cook what we were comfortable with, and the view of the little village was breathtaking and calming.
