The castle is totally legit, 1000 old castle or maybe more but with modern installatins, hot water, tv, heater and the included breakfast is really good. It is too bad that a very rude front desk receptionist, extra furniture and linens scattered throughout the hallways could dampen a beautiful castle experience, but it did. We stayed at Burg Colmberg and thoroughly enjoyed this historic castle and the amazing views, but were really put off by the items I just listed. More
