Made very welcome by lad at bar but the manager seemed otherwise preoccupied with something (she didn't change for the rest of the night and she looked younger than the bar staff!) We booked to stay in this hotel for a last minute Saturday night. On arrival, the welcome was friendly but as we were shown to our room (no 4), there was a very noticable smell of damp in the corridor, which was a bit off putting. We only stayed one night but we had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and accommodating. In room information booklets were excellent. The only thing letting the place down slightly is the standard of the evening meal but perhaps we just picked a bad night. I would highly recommend staying here. More
