Negatives: Approx 4 km cut off from the populated area. no market or shops nearby. non-ac small cottages. 6 km or so from Kasauli. Positives: wooden built separate cottages, secluded, lush green surroundings, fresh homely food, especially himachali rara chicken. tasty local water (must try, we think the water acted like an appetizer) Understandable: Cooking time was more than regular,... “very nice location but bad approach”

we stayed at the hotel recently. initially we were quiet disappointed by the 3.5 km road approach to the hotel (as mentioned on their site as well) but well the place is just all what a nature lover would want. The place is secluded, cut off from the mankind area for approx 3-4 kms. we enjoyed the quiet feeling there.... More

We went to pinewood on Holi. Wow what an experience. I booked two rooms for my brother family too. Awesome experience. Staff was courteous, polite. Only problem was road but We easily crossed the Kutcha 2 kms on my swift very easily. It was good. There was a stream nearby where we went with our food just for some picnic... More

Dear Sir I agree that the approach is bad. Had it been within our powers we would have constructed the road ourselves. But we get our cars daily here, the only thumb rule to drive on such roads is keep the speed limit to bare minimum. We expect the next time you'd come you'd be not so-disappointed by the road... “Awesome place”

Stayed at this hotel in Kasauli.This place is at a very nice location, very good scenic beauty. Same as it looks in pictures. Hotel staff is also very polite.Morning was very beautiful. If you like sunrise try to ask for the room which is facing east. We enjoyed the sunrise with cold breeze. Simply loved that experience.
