We arrived at the William IV and shown to our room it was very comfortable and well appointed. The view from our window wast of open countryside. Our meal; The main courses were excellent unfortunately we were somewhat letdown by the treacle sponge which was chewy. We will be returning to the area again and hope to re visit soon.

Pub decor by good, clean etc but the lunch was disappointing. Scampi and chips were poor, small pieces of scampi, mostly breadcrumb and chips were scrappy, like the last few bits and pieces from the freezer bag. Stayed here for a couple of nights last week. Fantastic place for a break, lovely location, friendly staff, room was well eqiuped and exceptionally comfortable. And as for the breakfast......... you won't need to eat again all day after the wonderful full English!! Will definitely be visiting again!!

We had a perfect restful weekend at the king William iv... We were made to feel most welcome and so to was our dog Star. A really fab pub with lovely accommodation and great food. Thank you, will definately stay again.

Just returned from a last minute decision to go to the coast, staying at the King William. What a find the room was vey comfortable and clean, staff helpful and friendly. The food both evening meal and breakfast tasty we will definitely return for a longer break,
