I never stayed here - but have used their conference facilities & F&B services on two occasions. It's basic, simple and adequate. The food is served hot & fresh. It's the best a small town has to offer - when one has miles to go before one sleeps!

the only decent business hotel in satara.lil worn out..the rooms are old, no lcd screen, but large...the view from all rooms is quite panoramic.especially from executive room which have a deck/balcony.
Had the misfortune of checking into this hotel. Let not the facade and the lobby deceive you. I was shocked to see the state of the Bathroom - a broken tub badly cemented to cover the breakage, fungus all over, gut wrenching stench, unbearably filthy carpet, stinking and stained pillow. I ran out in ten minutes. Was given another room...

Had blocked as room at the hotel after reading reviews. Was supposed to be one of the better hotels in Satara. We were given a super executive suite which cost around Rs 3700. Had to leave our bags and were in a rush. The sight of the room was appalling, faded and mossy carpets, stained pillows with not damp but...

The Hotel has best of the Locations if you are on a Business Trip, right in the heart of Satara. The Hotel is Basic , it is something that i would call as satisfactory considering that Satara is not a Tourism oriented place.
The hotel is very conveniently located. Easy to spot as soon as you enter Satara.
We took the non-ac rooms, as the weather was very good in August. The 2 rooms on second floor are connected through a nice lawn.
The bathrooms, bedroom are clean and quite basic. Nothing very good, but good basic facilities. The staff is a bit...

Please go through the website for addition informtion,, pics and tariffs etc.. http://www.maharajagroupofhotels.com/index.html They can improve more on service though. the response isnt so good.especially form the guy at reception.
Stayed over in this joint for a night. It was a business trip. This is an old hotel but maintained. The rooms have LCD tv. The bathroom is good. The negative part for business travelers is that the plug points are not available. The only point available is the point where the tea maker is kept. Better carry an extension...

In some parts of Maharashtra hotels are over priced and this property is one such. Though part of Satara, not a big city, the tariff at this hotel is as much as at a hotel in a big city elsewhere. The hotel is located at a height and thus offers a panoramic view of the surrounding areas and the scenic...
