The apartments are very well located in Kamares, the quaint port town of Sifnos. Simeon is a fantastic host. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He collected us from the port and supplied whatever we asked for. The apartment is clean and serviced every day. It has a superb ocean and village view. It is within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants, beaches and boutiques. I would recommend these self catering apartments to anyone!

I stayed 3 nights at Simeon’s . The room is good and clean ; the sea view terrace is very nice. Unfortunately it can be noisy on fridays as we hear the noise and music of close restaurants and bars. The room does not offer coffee and tea facilities and it’s a pitty for the price we paid. There is one electrical plug next to entrance door wich is not convenient to charge phones or tablets as there is no plugs next to beds or desk table Overall its a good stay

The apartment was ideal for us, very comfortable, roomy, spotless and the balcony was fabulous with great sea views. Simeon and his partents made us feel very welcome and worked hard to make sure we had a wonderful time on the island. The apartments are in easy reach of shops, tavernas and the fabulous beach. There is a good bus service although we enjoyed hiring a car for a few days to travle around the island. We hope to be able to stay at the apartments again (this was already our second visit) .

I stayed here for 3 nights last August, and wish it’d been longer! Simeon kindly picked me up from the ferry, and dropped me off again. He was kind and friendly. My room was just lovely, with views to die for! I wouldn’t hesitate in booking this great place again, if I ever return to Sifnos. I certainly hope so, as it’s such a magical island 💙

The owner are very friendly. The rooms have private balconies with the best Greek sea view and they are very clean. They also have great new modern bathrooms in each room. 5 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from mini market, bakery, cafeterias, restaurants etc.,

A lovely little room with a good little fridge and a nice little balcony with table and two chairs and panoramic views of the harbour. Even the hand held shower is not a problem as there is plenty of room and a good curtain so most of the water doesn’t end in the bedroom as was the case at my hotel in Piraeus. Welcoming and clean. Good lighting. Although there is no kitchen there was a kettle, cups, glasses, knives, tea-spoons and plates, all you need for a few snacks on the balcony. Getting There: Ferry from Piraeus is about three hours. It stops at nearby Serifos first, then Sifnos and Milos. Tickets are €34. I booked online with Let’s Ferry and collected my tickets on arrival at their offices in Piraeus. BA and Aegean fly direct to Athens. Bus X96 goes from Athens airport to Piraeus about every 20 minutes. Tickets €6 from the kiosk by the bus stop outside arrivals. Bus takes about 90 minutes. Remember to tap your ‘paper’ ticket on the blue reader on the bus. Simeon was kind enough to collect me from the ferry. Even though it is just a 5 minute walk it is a circuitous uphill route and would be arduous with a large suitcase. With a backpack the easiest way is to head along the main road past all the seaside restaurants till you get to The Old Captain Bar. Opposite is a stairway up to the road with Simeon Apartments a few doors to your left at the top of the stairs. Getting Around: There is a reasonable bus service and plenty of taxis. Bus from Kamares to Apollonia takes just 20 minutes and costs €1.80, pay on the bus. Similar length taxi ride will be about €10…

Simeon came to get us at the port and was most helpful. The rooms are clean and simple, with comfortable beds and a good, hot shower. The balcony overlooking the swimming beach and restaurants was a great place to sit and watch the sunsets A big bonus was the fridge, dishes and kettle so we could make our own breakfast. There are a number of stairs from the beach up to the hotel, but after a few days, you get used to them - a good way to work off all the great food!

Simeon collected us from the port and although we arrived early our room was ready which was great. The room was small, simply furnished but very comfortable, very clean and a little quirky (which I like). I had a little balcony envy as some of the other rooms had much bigger balconies than ours but our juliet balcony was fine.... and the view looking down onto the harbour and across and around the panorama of the mountains was gorgeous. plenty of places to eat locally, a good sandy beach close by (although its quite a walk down and harder walk up) but hey when you see the view it makes up for it. Simeon, his family and the staff were lovely. would highly recommend these rooms.

Simeon met us at the port for the short transfer to the apartments. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, one of the rooms has a double bed and a single, with plenty of wardrobe space, and doors out onto the balcony. The other room is basically the kitchen with a table and chairs with 2 single beds in it. The bathroom was a good size but could probably use an upgrade. Also the wifi could be a bit hit and miss. What made this property so special for us, as well as the very nice family who own these traditional apartments, was the large balcony with the most wonderful view over the bay, perfect to sit and watch the boats and ferries come and go and to just relax and admire the view. This was our first visit to Sifnos, it's a very beautiful traditional island which exceeded our expectations and we hope to return one day.…
