This inn is certainly up and away. The property is beautiful. There are only six rooms so it's possible to find peace and quiet in any one of the living areas. Wow! Quinta das Sequoias is a marvelous place! We have unfortunately booked just one night in this beautifully decoradet, charming place in the middle of the forest up above the Monterrato park. This hotel was the highlight of our 3 week trip on the Iberian peninsula. All of the claims made on the webste are true. Isolated among the trees, shrubs and flowers just 3 KM outside the ancient city of Sintra, but about 1000 feet up in altitude. OH my god... this place is amazingly beautyful...it s in the top ten romantic hotels in the world... Ask for the nuptial room and admire this LSD view on Sintra's castles and their jungle ! Worth the price ! more
