We were looking for a relaxing holiday before the arrival of our first child. You enter the Villa's enclosed courtyard through a locked double door and our welcomed not only by the friendly owner, but a beautiful, private house. The rooms are lovely. Ours was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a four poster bed. There are no mod cons... More

A delightful old house with just 5 rooms all individually styled and different. The efficient Effie supervises breakfast & evening drinks taken in the cool garden. Effie is a huge asset to this property she is charming and excellent at her job. The rooms are kept very clean, bathroom in ours the Artemis, could do with some updating but everything... More

Charming, lovely staff. A little gem in a superb village. A pool in a green courtyard and large room with all mod cons inc. air- con. Looking a tad tired in some areas, notably the bathroom, but this is nitpicking really.

What a lovely place! It is a gem, offering the perfect mix of small, friendly, non corporate, characterful, with pool, in the heart of a quiet, relaxed village/ small town with plenty of tavernas and no here we go element. villa kynthia has such a pretty private courtyard for breakfast and enjoying while lazing by the pool. This lovely hotel has the feel of an intimate country b&b, a feeling that is backed up by the warmth and friendliness of its owners, Korinna and Andonis. We stayed in 'Artemis', a large double room, running the rear width of the house. You'll find the room very well appointed with lovely antique furniture including a beautiful 4 poster bed... More

We booked villa kynthia not wanting a big, chain hotel and also thinking panormo would have been quite characteristic for a few days in crete. The house is attractive, with spacious, clean rooms: our first night was in Rea which is good for a family. It's a bit dark, but very comfortable with all mod cons, and a small, a... More

For a relaxing, authentic Crete experience, without too many tourists or overly commercial places, then Panormo is a fantastic destination. It is a sleepy little fishing village, with a small port for the fishing boats, a couple of nice sandy beaches and lots of places to eat and drink. Villa Kynthia is a relaxing, secluded, traditional guest house with plenty... More

I have just returned from a trip to Villa Kynthia in Crete, staying with my wife and 9 year old son. The hotel is very characterful and has a lot of charm, suitable for families or couples. Continental breakfast is held (in summer) in a sunny courtyard. Our room had a delightful classical fresco. Some reviews have commented on the lack of... More

If you want to enjoy a relaxing break on Crete, this would be very hard to beat. Panormo is a small and largely unspoilt fishing village, with a nice beach and a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars. And Villa Kynthia, which has been beautifully restored by a welcoming sister/brother team, is an absolute delight. We had the middle-sized... More

Villa Kynthia is in the centre of Panormos, a fairly quiet seaside village. It's small, only 6 rooms, and has been beautifully restored. We stayed in Odyssey suite, which was about 20' square, 4 poster bed, with separate en-suite set off of a tiny lobby. It has a balcony with small table & 2 chairs that overlooks the street which...
