Rooms are simple and non descript. I got the room next to the street and it was noisy. Service is nice and friendly. Cute decoration such as heart shaped towels on the bed. Location very central and close to the pier if u need to catch a boat to phangan.

friendly and very helpfull. thai couple running a small but nice Hotel in Samui. it is not far from big buddha and in a quiet environment. recommended!! grts. Danny

The Tonrak is not in a great location, it is a 2k walk to get to an attraction. The rooms are a good size and clean, although our bed hadn't been changed! In the evening there is the most irritating noise coming from the bar below, but that is only until midnight.
