We stayed four nights at Antico Feudo San Giorgio. We had a lovely room with a view of the surrounding countryside, which is spectacular, especially in April then the fields are green. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, and made a special point of meeting us and making us feel at home. The food is more than ample, in... More

We went for a holiday in Easter and it was a wonderful experience. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. Food was fantastic and place was awesome (though may be tricky to find). The whole area is wonderful - we managed to skii at Piano Battaglia and swim at Cefalu in one day - spoilt for choice! Kids were happy... More

We had a lovely brief stay at this farm, hosted by a lovely, easy going, and welcoming Italian couple. The food was great (dining room is SO lovely), the rooms were beautiful, and the grounds so peaceful. There were sheep, donkeys, and cute kittens and all were friendly. We enjoyed having breakfast on the back terrace overlooking the fields. Wish... More

If we judged on first impressions maybe our overall rating might have been average - Giancorrado couldn't find details of our booking and looked a bit flustered. He led us to our room at the end of the building which, at first glance looked like the one they kept for late bookings. It had no windows and a sloping roof... More

This Agriturismo is set about 20 -30 min drive from the gateways to the wonderful Madonie Mountains amongst lovely rolling hills. Once you enter the farm house, it takes you back to old times! Our room was fairly large with a double bed, a single bed and a sofa, and the outlook was very nice. It was clean, neat and... More

A family run agriturismo with a friendly and helpful owners - Giancorrado and Fabiola. Information and maps of the surrounding Madonie Park were given to us on request. We visited the place in February 2012 not the peak sason, but that was peak time to visit the snowy mountains. Fabiola cared a lot for us when we got lost in... More

My son and I were received as if we were part of the family. Gian Corrado came out to welcome us as we stepped out of the car. Fabiola gave us much information about the farm and its history. Both husband and wife made sure that we were well taken care of. Dinner was delicious and followed the obligatory Italian... More

Our vacation in the farm was wonderful! We enjoyed very much every aspect: the beautiful farm house, the amazing landscapes, the relaxing atmosphere, the delicious superb food, the huge generous size of the meals, the modest cost, and above all – the warm and friendly hospitality. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed one night at the Antico Feudo which is an agriturismo near Polizzi Generosa. It's a three hundred year old family farm run by Fabiola and Giancarado who were amazing hosts. Unlike other agriturismo, it's run more like a subsistence farm than a business. We had some of the best olive oil and wine (produced on the farm) of... More

We were looking forward to a 'farm experience' and considerded ourselves ripped off. It was the beginning of Oct. but no crops to see must less 'harvest'.. No one to greet us. We had to roam around until we found someone. Rooms were large but fairly primitive. Service was almost non existent. The biggest insult was the food . Dinner... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The farm house is located in the center of a big working organic farm, we produce olive oil, grapes for wine, wheat; we restored this building some years ago, we made a nice swimming pool large 16 x 8 meters (a swimming hat must be worn into the water), the parking and the country road (long 2 km). Our area is usually windy and cool, that's why we decided not to put air conditioning in rooms and apartments but we can provide you with a fan. In Antico Feudo San Giorgio you can relax yourself, enjoy our food and also plan a great tour of the island because we are well located and you can reach in not much more than one hour driving all the best places to visit (Siracusa, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Cefalù and the Madonie, Etna and Catania, Palermo). Antico Feudo San Giorgio is in the heart of the Madonie Park. ... more   less
