Me and my mate spent two days at the festival and it was awful. They have different prices for the internationals and locals. Local pay half €35 for a day pass, while and international have to pay €70. The bracelet payment system it's a scam and when you top it up, the ladies are asking for tips. I've seen local getting free drinks tipping the bar staff, while you're overcharged for everything. Half of them are rude and it's same for some of the restaurant and small tobacco kiosks. Avoid this festival, it's not worth it.

The Garden Tisno was a beautiful place. Set up brilliantly by the staff I thought I was in another world. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I am definitely hoping to get back to this gem of a resort next year.

We rented a mobil home for the Defected festival. the Garden strips out all dishes, pots pans and utensils for the festival days. even tho it says kitchenette in description you can not use it. Not even a cup or tea cup. there is a nice size fridge to store your drinks and food. but nothing to drink or eat off. A/C is good. beds are nice. Secure locks. can here the main stage from your bed rom window as if you were actually on stage. not a big deal for us. Great spot for parties. but be aware of the kitchen strip. We bought food and drinks for the 5 days and had to buy paper cups and plates.

I was with my family. We were between the festivals, so we had privacy. Staff was really friendly and helpfull. Our house was clean and tidy. Beautifull pleace. It’s at the sidelines from Tisno. There’s no sidewalk by the way to the center. For our walks with a stroller, was a bit problematic ;)

Although the festivals are good, staying on site offers a very bad experience. Away from the stage and the beach, parts of the site look like a building site crossed with a disused school. The shop for people on site is terrible and overpriced which is not good when you are not allowed to bring your own food and drink onto the site. I know they claim they are 'festival' prices but I have never had to pay £5 for a jar of pasta sauce at any other festival I have been to. The self catering mobile homes failed to include anything that we could use to cook, unless you can get creative with 3 paper plates and a solitary mug The 24 hour reception was never open and/or never helpful. We stayed a week and didn’t see a single cleaner. By all means visit the site for the festivals, it is a great place for a festival, but do not stay onsite. You will have a lot more pleasant time if you stay in Tisno and walk in every day.

On the first night of the festival I got phone pick pocketed and security were not helpful at all. I asked for lost property incase it had been handed in and found out there was no lost property. Throughout the whole festival I was in and out 4 times a day and not once did my bag or I get searched. This was a massive disappointment to my trip and made me feel very anxious. However, I can definitely recommend this festival to any ‘drum n bass’ lover and raver. The area surrounding is fantastic - with bars to pre - drink and eat. The festival is not only on the beach but there is a large grass/forest area with hammocks. There is plenty of space for everyone to have a great time without standing in people’s toes. The boat parties take you all around a number of gorgeous islands. But do not bring anything valuable with you to this venue.

We have been here for the very first 'Hospitality on the Beach' festival and the area is a very good choice for such an event. Enough space for all people, an amazing stage right next to the beach, professional and friendly staff (Magnolia as well as Hospitality), a nice setup of lights, infrastructure and a good organisation. If they will come back next year, I can definitely recommend it to any Drum'n'Bass lover. Beware: This does not say much about possible other music events or festivals at this place.

Great staff in reception, house-keeping, and the staff at the Magnolia are the best and always willing to help in any questions you may have. Prices onsite are reasonable and with access to the beach stage off the waters, the olive grove, and the main stage - you will always have something to do. Not including the boat parties off the Argonaught and the after parties at the Barbarella's, music from some of the best DJs in the world with B2B sessions galore will guarantee that you will have the time of your life!! See you all next year for Defected Croatia 2018!

The apartment was small and compact but had absolutely everything we needed! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage, however, the bathroom was very small and basic with no oven, microwave, kettle of toaster but we managed! Very close to the beach and perfect for the festivals.

Just got back from Suncebeat festival. The site is scruffy and untidy. Thousands of cigarette ends and tonnes of litter all over the site. A 330ml can of their own brand beer is 35 kuna (£4.20 )on site. They sell the same cans in their nicer place in zadar - also called the garden for 22 kuna (£2.65). They don't allow you to take your own supplies on site. A beer in town is less than half price. The rooms are very basic and tatty, we stayed a week and only got a change of towels once, no bedding change at all. The locks on the doors were knackered and unsecured. They look like they'd be broken off in the past and not replaced. There is no safe in the rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying here at all.
