Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Old Mill early Feb 2012. The weather was very cold (-6) and as we were staying the the Annexi was worried we would be frozen come morning. But the room was very well heated. I would have preferred a room in the actual hotel itself, but nevertheless the annex room was clean, presentable,... More

Considerating the amazing location!!!! The hotel is a let down!! They advertise a service that is non existable!! When you plan a nice cosy night in one of the advertised superior room with a jacuzzi bath that's not working!! Is a big let down to the romantic planned weekend!!! Staff can't understand you and they don't clear the tables, you... More

Lovely location on the River Avon. Decent food. Helpful staff.. OK room. Minor niggles include prominent bedsprings, dust hanging fromm ceiling, unlockage patio door, window that was difficult to close and impossible to lock, wonky soap tray, no iron, canned jazz muzac at breakfast and battered menus for evening meal. Also, that was the first time I've been asked to... More

Although we had Got a good deal from voucher code for this hotel we still expected to have an enjoyable stay. Thank goodness our room wasn't ready and they upgraded up as the LODGE rooms were in an outer building and looked tiny and grotty! My husband and I had come away for a romantic get away and we left... More

Booked through Laterooms, bed and breakfast in a superior room. No problems at all, room not the biggest but well furnished and modern. This as in the main building, didn't like the look for the annexe which a previous reviewer has compared to Butlins, i can see where they were coming from. Breakfast was good, onsite free car park. Would... More

The hotels location was picturesque as described. The problems started when we were informed our room was located in the lodge. A separate out building from the main hotel, the lodge had all the character of a mobile toilet. Our room was small, dark and dingy, the perfect size to facilitate a hobbit. The bathroom was finished to a very... More

Booked two nights here through an internet hotel booker so we had the room at what i would consider a reasonable rate for a night in a hotel including breakfast. I wouldent have paid the full price advertised through their website, although Bath seems to be a very expensive place to stay generally! We stayed in the 'lodge' i.e. ugly... More

My wife and I spent four days over Christmas at this hotel, along with our daugher and her partner, and cannot praise it too highly. We were concerned (after booking at what was a very attractive rate for the holiday season, but before arrival) by some of the criticism expressed in earlier reviews. In practice we could not believe that... More

We stayed on the 7th of Jan this year and were excited to be going until we read reviews of the place on here. I have to say though our experience was a long way from what I read. We had a great time, the room was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. Yes the rooms are... More

I have just returned from Bath having spent 2 nights at the Old Mill Hotel. I first read the reviews on Booking.com which were quite complimentary and i booked the hotel for my wife, myself and our 2 year old. I then read the reviews on here and i must admit i was very wary but we decided that if... More
