Nice clean place. Very friendly staff- no fuss at all when we showed up much too early for breakfast. Room was comfy but quite small. We had dinner in the restaurant and whilst pricey, it was certainly worth it. Location is good as within walking distance of an amazing beach but yes, it is also next to a very busy... More

This was my first ever trip to Wales and we stayed for one night at Maes-yr-Haf. Superb customer service by all staff - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and a really great bathroom. Parking easy. Free WiFi to the room - which more than made up for the lack of mobile phone signal. I didn't find it noisy... More

I was in The Gower for a wedding and spent 2 nights at Maes-yr-Haf. It's a fabulous place, the rooms are beautiful with all you could need. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would (and probably will) happily stay here again. More

Had a fantastic couple of days at Maes-yr-Haf. For anyone without a car, this is a great spot for a stunngingly beautiful walk to the gorgeous, quiet, sandy beach at Three Cliffs Bay. The 30 min stroll along the footpath (it isn't really the 20mins you'll hear mentioned) takes in pretty much every element of the picturesque you could hope... More

We were very dispapointed when we arrived at Maes yr Haf, on the map it looked like it was on a minor road in Gower, but that road turned out to be very busy. And we could hear the noise of the cars very clearly (even with the windows closed). At the other side of the road was a shop... More

My wife and I spent 3 days at Maes-yr-Haf. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. The restaurant was of a very high standard as was the breakfast the following morning. A footpath behind the restaurant takes you to Three Cliffs Bay with beautiful beaches and views and walks on the cliffs. Finally the service was excellent, very friendly and... More

We could not find one fault during our wedding meal and stay at Maes yr Haf. Mark and the rest of the staff are a beacon for perfect customer service! Food superb and staff attentive without being intrusive. Absolutely faultless all round. More

We ended up here by accident. We drove out to the Gower Pennisula without realizing the time it would take and that the hotels and B&B's are not all on the main road or that on a Saturday in April there would be weddings and groups and most places would be full. Someone called Maes-Yr-Haf and found a room for... More

Booked a one night stay here as a birthday present for my partner. We had a fantastic day and night and felt really spoiled. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and the bathroom was very nice. The rooms are quite small but everything is there that you need. Some of the cushions and throws were a little tatty and there was... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Maes Yr Haf whilst holidaying on the Gower peninsular. There is a good choice from an imaginative menu serving mainly local food, which is well cooked and presented. Also there is a decent wine list which is not over-priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was good value for a restaurant... More
