Flight was cancelled so accommodation was provided by Flybe Staff were very eager to please considering they had to accommodate around 15 grumpy passengers Food was just ok - but it was the staff that made the experience a pleasant one - both the staff on reception and the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful more

I was booked here as I had a last minute trip and had to be at an early morning meeting. I got some sleep but then the hotel courtesy shuttle service still managed to deliver me late to the meeting ! The hotel is well located near the terminal at aberdeen airport. I found the staff friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and had all the comforts one would need for an overnight stay near the airport. It is a 10 min walk to the maiin terminal, or the heliport. Agree completely with the previous review. Sign on the entrance door tells you that you are entering a non smoking building, but they forget to tell you that it is also a non smiling establishment. Well known to oil-workers on-airport hotel. Reasonable rates and cheap parking. Pretty sullen staff, and ok rooms. Go for 'executive' rooms as they're a lot nicer. Restaurant ok, and rooms clean and efficient. The Thistle across the road is better but more expensive. Useless for visitors coming in, but good for overnight before early flight. more
