I stayed here during the easter holidays with my mum and two daughters. The location for the metro centre is perfect, a couple of minutes drive to the nearest car park. However, the accommodation was not the best. I have stayed in a travelodge before but this one has to be the worst. I dont mind basic accommodation but there... More

Stayed here with my daughter and two granddaughters. The welcome was friendly, staff approachable. However, the room left quite a bit to be desired. It was not very clean, the net curtains were filthy. The pillows on bed were so thin with no filling. Unlike Premier Inns there is no hair dryers in the room. We also had to make... More

Hotel is in good location for Metro Centre and has TGIs, Frankie & Bennies, KFC and another pub within walking distance. Cheap hotel but it shows very basic room bed very uncomfortable and no extra pillows provided on request. Hotel was adequate for our purpose of stay for a one night stay on a shopping trip to Newcastle. We stayed... More

The staff were very friendly and efficient but the rooms are well used and tired, chewing gum on the bathroom floor horrendous stains on the carpets, beds that you end up nose to nose with the wife through the night. Good location, as said in others surrounded by places to eat and a nice pub next door, just needs money... More

We stayed here for a girls weekend to watch Girls Aloud on their tour. Travelling from Cardiff i found this hotel was at the perfect location. Right next door is a fab pub, the staff and locals were all very friendly and welcoming. There is a TGI fridays, KFC and Franky and Bennys within walking distance too. Upon arrival we... More

The service at this basic standard hotel was really good, we had a very quick check-in and were immediately allowed to go to the room. The room was good value for money. We slept well considering the way the beds looked as the duvet was very thin, and so was the matress but slept well. It was all generally clean,... More

i stayed here for work for 2 nights, there's plenty i could be critical about but you've got to remember, you get what you pay for, and at £27.50 per room per night was well worth it, the bed, in my opinion was very comfy, the shower was excellent, clean towels provided, the TV was fairly old but had most... Let's be realistic - if you are paying £19 per night for hotel accommodation, you can't expect "the Moon on a stick". As part of Travelodge's desperate-sounding sale last year, which included rooms at £12 per night, we signed up for a "grand tour" of all the relatives in early 2013 - and this was our final destination. Our son... More

Booked at the sale price of £12 for a one nights stay and being regular travelodge customers got just what we expected... A clean room albeit a bit dated, a comfy bed with clean bed linen (never enough pillows so we now bring our own) and friendly check in and out staff. Not our first visit and won't be our... More

Stayed here for one night with 10 friends for a girly night out, on entering hotel had two vending machines, one with ice cream And one with drinks which was broke! Entrances was full of adults waiting for taxis, got checked in fast and found our rooms, which where basic but clean, was quiet while getting ready, went out, on... More
