Whether it's for a quick pint, a snack or a full meal - this grand old establishment is always good to drop in to. Wonderful view from the panoramic room overlooking the sea during summer days. The staff are always good humoured and good natured. We tend to park, have a bit if a walk, then settledown for a bite... More

It's a B&B, not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are nice, warm and dry. Clean sheets, clean bathrooms, all in order. Fine views, peace and quiet. Very helpful staff. Few more breakfast dishes needed though. Affordable option for a weekend at the sea.

Could not praise this little jewel tucked away on the north east coast enough. The owners Paul and Anne are among the most genuine people I have ever met, and they know the meaning of a true 'cead mile failte'. The restaurant provides the most amazing home-cooked food, and the perfectly-cooked steaks and home-made soup and brown bread are to... More

Our stay at the Glyde Inn was wonderful. Paul, Ann and Coner O'Neal were great host. The rooms were clean and warm. We were there in November and it was very cold. Each room had a TV, however, the T.V.s did not work. It was no great loss not to be bothered plus the Pub had entertainment. The restaurant was... More

Recommended by a pub waiter, this was really a good place to have dinner. Good variety on the menu. I had a 12 oz Sirlion steak wit fresh mushroom sauce. Perfect medium grilled as demanded. Maybe the interior coud use some renewal buth really nice place.

I dined with friends in the Glyde Inn (now called Linn Duachaill restaurant) recently. I was very dissappointed with the menu which can be summarised as Fish and chips, Burger and chips, Chicken burger and chips or Scampi and chips. It is essentially a fast food menu until you see the prices - €16 for burger and chips. We ordered... More

We enjoyed our recent stay in The Glyde Inn. The entrance is through an old world bar with swinging doors like stepping back in time into 'a wild west style' pub. We wondered where to find the front desk but eventually found a staff member who showed us to our rooms. Access to bedrooms is up a steep flight of... More

Visited the restaurant last week, really really poor. The crab claws were served in a terrible sauce and our steaks were not prepare correctly. Waitress really done her best to cover for the poor food.

The Glyde Inn is in an absolutely beautiful spot, the most amazing sea and mountain views I am sure you will get in all of Co Louth. We went for lunch on a weekday and where one of only two sets of diners, despite the restaurant having at least 20 tables we where offered a table right next to the... More

We took the advice of a relative who is a local and wasn't disappointed. Nice comfortable, clean rooms, a good restaurant and a real Irish pub with Irish music and prices that didn't knock your socks off. The countryside is beautiful, the views breathtaking and only 50 minutes from Dublin. Couldn't ask for anything more.
