for a friends surprise birthday party. A good room over looking the river and park. Easy walking distance to local shops, a good base for exploring this part of South coast Devon. An excellent brakfast, why is it only 2 star!!??!!

Stayed at the Tumbling Weir for Nov 5th. Nice B & B, very good breakfast, rooms were great. We were only there for one night so can't give too much detail on the village but you need to see the Bonfire Night celebrations. Awesome!

We were lucky to get a room at this hotel for the famour Tar Barrel event. The breakfast was lovely, the staff friendly (also provided helpful tips on surviving the Tar Barrels), room was comfortable, and location was excellent. We would recommend our weekend staying at this hotel and see the barrels to any of our friends.
