The facilities in Denali are awesome. The food is really good and the choices are great. We enjoyed the dinner theater and the accompanying food and socializing. The views of the nearby mountains are great. There are several shops on site that offer Alaskan crafts; we love the chainsaw art, especially the bears (we have a log cabin and have... More

The location is fantastic. Walk to Denali main entrance and across the street from some of the shops. But that's where goodness ends. It is a people factory. Endless bus and tour groups coming in -- the place is a factory. You have to do exactly what they say re: your baggage esp. day of check out; no flexibility. Service... More

Huge resort. As we were travelling in shoulder season, we got a room there even if we were travelling on our own outside the cruise crowd. Perfectly maintained room, all services on premises. King Salmon restaurant is excellent. The hall is like a train station. If you want to do a tour and are not part of a cruise, be... More

Despite others' reviews, I had an absolute wonderful time here. Yes, it's not the Ritz-Carlton but you're in a lodge in the wilderness! The rooms are clean, warm and they deliver your luggage-what more do you want?

Their website only shows a newer modern lodge which we thought was what we'd be getting. Upon arrival we saw that the modern lodge was only a small percentage of their rooms and the rest were much older two story Roadside Lodge type units.

This was another Princess Lodge that we stayed at during our land and sea excursion. Was a bit hesitant and tentative about this lodge after reading many mixed reviews but I would not hesitate to stay here again. This is not a 5 star resort by any means but is very picturesque, ideally situated and the bonus is that it... More

We stayed here for I night , seemed to be in a nice location , in its favour it was close to the Denali National Park, this was not up to standard that you would expect from a company that boasts its number one , the main Hall and reception was always busy and bustling with people coming and going... We were very disappointed with this 'resort', as it was so busy and crowded, it was in complete contrast to the nature and the ambience expected of a country retreat. It's a Do-It-Yourself resort with screens in the Reception giving all the bus departure times, this to me just felt like being in a busy station. The customer services were... More

Started enquiring about bookings via email with Princess in early summer. They knew precisely what we wanted and how many rooms and that we were all cruising with Princess, and informed us to contact again in October for 2013 reservations. Did this - only to be told no availabilty and to book a land tour through them. Been onto their... More
