We spent 3 nights here at the end of May and one thing I have to stress it to bring warm clothes! Even though it's very hot down in canyon, it gets really cold on the north rim, especially during the night. Campground is well kept and clean. Each tent campsite has sort of sand box that gives you nice... More

We stayed here in a 30' travel trailer over Memorial Day 2013. Check in process was easy, and our site was clean. We stayed in site 71. The bathrooms were clean and there is laundry towards the entrance of the campground which came in handy after my daughter became sick. The general store on site has all the basics and... More

I stayed there with my kids July 4th-5th, wish we stayed longer. They had a great Geology program at the amphitheater and my kids loved it! Loved the general store and they have WIFI! My phone was out but I was able to contact family online. A lot of the small hikes are near campsites. We could not have a... More

We stayed here over the July 4th holiday. The campground is well set up and very well maintained. There was a fire ban in place but it was lifted after the thunder/hail storm. It was great to sit around by athe fire. There were also interesting ranger talks (free) right in the campground amphitheater. We loved it and will return... More

In planning our trip to the north rim we were pleased to find that everything we'd heard about the north rim lacking crowds was true. I haven't been to the south rim, but if it is anything like the other popular national parks I've been to, I imagine it is probably somewhat of a zoo. The north rim was nothing... More

We spent several days here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sites are located under large trees with good spacing between them, clean well maintained restrooms. Nice walk to lodge and rim trail with fantastic views of the canyon. Good camp store, nice gift shop and visitor center. Showers and laundry available. Only negative was garbage truck showed up at 7:30... More

We spent 4 nights at the North Rim Campground around July 4th. It is nice and shady, but not my favorite when compared to other campgrounds in nearby NP. First of all, there are very few tent only sites. We booked our trip 6 months in advance and they were all gone, so we picked up one of the other... More

I loved this campground, and wish we had been able to stay longer. There are many trees to offer shade, but also great expanses to watch the stars. The bathrooms are spaced well, are not shared by too many campsites and are clean. The campsites themselves were well spaced out, and easily spacious enough for two tents. I slept like... More

We just returned from our trip to the North Rim Campground at the Grand Canyon. It is a much less visited side of the Grand Canyon - 0nly 10% of all Grand Canyon visitors go to the North Rim. It's very different from the South Rim which is more touristy and has more commercial operations. The North Rim is a... More
