We really enjoyed this cabin! We stayed in Kings Canyon for one night and were offered a room in the hotel or the cabins. We chose the cabin and really enjoyed it. We had neighbors in the attached cabin but they were quiet and we didn't disturb each other. The rooms were clean and neat. Screened windows were left open... More

This place is a little secret in the wonderful Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP. Only a couple of cabins and a small campground. We spend the night in 1 cabin and we really enjoyed the place. The cabin is really cozy and clean and we spent the evening watching the beautiful sky. At the park there is a small shop and a... More

My husband, kids (7&11) and I stayed at the tent cabin for 2 nights and we had a great time there. Don't expect anything special, then you will be able to make the most of your stay there. Our tent cabin was #317. It may be one of the farthest tent cabins (non-electric) from the parking area, but was pretty... More

We stayed with our two small kids during the low season, end of October, and found the stay comfortable and a worthwhile experience. Looking for something cozy rather than modern and luxurious, we were happy with this clean and homely cabin. The bathroom wasn't huge but very clean and hot water was always available instantly. Heating also worked well and... More

We really wanted to love grant grove but, unfortunately, we just didn't. We came here for two nights as part of a honeymoon trip and stayed in a "Rustic Cabin". We had reasonable expectations and knew this was a rustic environment. We both have extensive camping and hiking experience and we were looking forward to "being one with nature". This... More

I have stayed at Grant Grove Cabins over 30 times since 1973; the last time 2 weeks ago. It is not comparable to a hotel, or resort or luxury anything. It is nature, gussied up for us humans to tolerate.Once you hit the tree line at 4000 feet, it begins to turn surreal. Trees begin to grow beyond anything youve... More

We stayed in a Grant Grove Cabin in late August. Typically for us we got there after dark but the cabin was easy to find and there was plenty of space to park. After staying in a perminant tent a few years ago in Yosemite, I was expecting something similar however this was luxury in camparison! Wooden chalet with pine... More

We stayed at the Azalea campground in the tent-only section and loved it. (Site 6 is awesome--secluded and right by a little green meadow. It faces a picnic area, but the picnic area is closed at night.) The flush toilets and sink for dishes are a short walk up the hill. The restaurant at the Grant Grove village was surprisingly... We stayed in a cabin with no bathroom for two nights. The cabin was clean and adequate. It would not please someone who wanted a fancy place. These cabins are just as they describe them: basic. The showers and bathroom were a short walk away and were very clean. The grove as a whole was quiet when we were there... More

My family stayed here 2 nights in a cabin with 3 double beds. The cabin is basically a large storage shed. It was outfitted with one overhead light, one reading lamp. a chest of drawers and a small table, and one chair. There were 4 electrical outlets. The windows had makeshift screens and flimsy locks which wouldn't stop anyone from... More
