We stayed in a room in one of the buildings separate from the lodge. They were basically wood panelled boxes. I found used dental floss on the bathroom floor and money not far under the bed. After lying down on the bed, I was covered in some kind of white animal fur, dog?! They changed our bedding, but obviously someone's... More

My family of 6 stayed in a 2-room suite (one king bed, two double beds). Everything was clean but guests should understand that the accommodations are not intended to be luxurious. We loved the view from the back porch of the main building, the live entertainment nightly (no extra charge) in the family-friendly brightly-lit basement level bar, the cozy, warm... More

Did not stay here but ate the restaurant for lunch. The service was slow and sporadic but the food was excellent and prices were high. You have to take in account they have to ship the food up to the lodge. Very limited menu choice for lunch. The spinach salad that I had for lunch was one of the best... More

The Lodge provides you with a room that has a bed to sleep but that is it. If you are looking for a 4 star accommodation you have the wrong place. The rooms are small, rustic and sparse but the view from the patio off of the room is amazing. The staff was very nice and friendly. The food in... More

The Lodge offers an ample sets of renovated rooms: they are rustic, simple, yet perfectly clean and lovely if you like the mountain style. It was a bit cold at night, even with the heating on, but all in all the location is wonderful, the view is stunning, and the food in the restaurant is good, if pricey. If you... More

We enjoyed our overnight stay at this lodge located along Skyline Drive. It is very rustic, but comfortable. Don't expect luxury accommodation, but it is comfortable, and the scenery is beautiful. Our dinner in the dining room was fine, but not memorable. Service in the dining room was adequate, but not very professional, i.e. coffee spilled in the saucer. If... More

We spent the night Saturday May 18th. Having read the tripadvisor reviews, I was adequately prepared for our stay. The room was "fine". A super 8 off the highway would probably have been nicer, but the location and view was wonderful so we (as planned) ignored the room quality. The room was clean but older. The bathroom could have used... More

The view was spectacular and wonderful. Access to the park was also wonderful. Wildlife right outside the room. Saw deer almost every day from our room. Saw beautiful birds also from our room. Lodge food was excellent in quality, but expensive. The wait staff was excellent both at dinner (Thanks Pam) and Housekeeping (Thanks Stephanie and Ashley). The room (Pet-Friendly... More

I will start by saying - the access you have to the park is fantastic and I love the park - but I was not impressed with either the lodging or the food. Our room had a TV that didn't work, a radio that didn't work and a door that didn't lock. The food was expensive in price and not... More

I can accept "Rustic" but that doesn't mean run down or unclean. The scenery is terrific but my advice would be to see the sights and stay outside the park. The accommodation is not worth the price you have to pay. The walls are paper thin and the wind gusts whistled through the cracks in the doors and windows. While... More
