“Relaxation in the rainforest”

We had a lovely time here disconnecting from it all. The room was great, very private and well equipped for cooking and bbq s. The owners are helpful and approachable but give you all the privacy you need. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a restful break.

What a wonderful setting for a relaxing weekend and Irene & Wes the perfect hosts. Most places have some faults but the Ravensbourne Forest Chalets were perfection. Log fire laid when we arrived, Bottle of wine to choose because we stayed 2 nights, huge range of dvd's to watch, good size spa bath, plenty of towels, reverse cycle air to warm up the cabin quickly if we didn't feel like relaying the fire, Comfortable seats... We spent 3 nights in our cosy chalet (Cosy once the log fire is in full swing!). The chalets are exactly as shown on the web site, wood panelled, high ceilings, canopied bed & spa bath. Lovely cabins that are very well furnished and equipped. Extremely comfortable. Loved the wood burning stove for the chilly evenings as well as the spa tub. Everything so clean. They have thought of everything one might need in the kitchen. Great BBQ on the deck. So quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast hamper as well. Would not bother with dinner hamper... More
