Reviews on TripAdvisor tell you as much, if not more, about the reviewer than the subject of the review. So of course this report is subjective. But in 2010 we had had a wonderful time at Coco's Hotel on Antigua, and had hoped that the Cocounut Beach Club would be as good. It wasn't. The location in itself is fine,... More

We enjoyed our 10 day stay at The Coconut Beach Club. We had a pleasant large ground floor room with a sitting area outside, a few feet from the beach. The room was clean and the beach lovely. We enjoyed the food and felt there was a good choice especially as we don't eat meat (but eat fish). The staff were... More

We returned for the third time and reluctantly we considered that the hotel has slipped back. In particular when it neared being full up both the staff and food ( particularly breakfast and lunch) appeared stretched. We did visit the sister hotel and thought that Coconut Beach Club was the poor relation of the two. On the positive side the... More

We arrived Christmas Eve, very nice location and extremely friendly staff. Clean beach at the resort and other clean beaches within a short walk. We would recommend the Coconut Beach Club for a 'chill out' break, with a good selection of food served in the restaurant. The rooms could do with being refurbished along with the bathroom, as it was... More

It is a simple, basic hotel, yet quiet and relaxing. I read bad reviews about mosquitos but personally - with plenty of tropical deet repellent, I was okay. True, there are clouds of mosquitos at sunset. And I was not impressed when I first arrived, as the beach is sprayed once a week and you literally have to flee to... More

My first impression was alright. Though the resort was less luxurious looking than many other resorts we passed on the way, it was staffed with friendly people and we were informed about everything in a friendly way. The room wasn't too bad, but whenever it rained (which it did quite often), you could hear the water VERY loudly through the... More

We got married here last year, and it was a bit of a learning experience. Our steep learning curve was shortened by the people that we met there on holiday who had been many times and all knew they were going abroad - paradise does come with some demands, such demands made all the more easy by the staff of... Stayed first 2 weeks in November and yes the hotel is a little tired, but the manager appeared to be looking to improve any deficiencies and I feel confident that she will. Not a 5 star but we had a really relaxing time, which is what we wanted and expected. Staff were excellent along with the food and the general... More

We had a 14day break at this resort and found it absolutely lovely. The fact that it is small and friendly is part of its charm. It isn't trying to compete with the 'big boys',but what it may lack in facilities,it more than makes up for in warmth, charm, friendliness and atmosphere. As has been said, the staff are Brilliant, and cannot do enough to help... My other half and I stayed at the Coconut Beach early november, and feel a a little compelled to write a review in its defence. Plenty of people have mentioned CB not being 5 star and it needing a little TLC so wont dwell on those bits too much - agree the hotel is a little tired however we felt... More
